An anatomy study of Tyrannosaurus rex jaw muscle anatomy. I used a scan of AMNH 5027 and undistorted it. I added the muscles and soft tissue in Zbrush. I then took everything into Blender, rigged it up and added some blend-shapes for contracting and expanding. The point of this was to get a better understanding of the jaw muscles and exactly how the sheath structure would be. The gums I have covering anywhere from half to 2/3's of the teeth.
